Become a member and join our growing community of international gesture scholars! Membership in the society is for two years, starting from the date your registration is completed. It includes access to all three online issues of the journal gesture for the year you become a member and the following year. Student members can choose whether or not they subscribe to the journal.

In addition to your membership you can donate to the work of the International Society for Gesture Studies. Donations are used to support ISGS conference activities including Sign Language Interpreting and student bursaries.

The ISGS was founded exclusively for scientific and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. This allows donations to it to be tax deductible in the U.S. and potentially in other countries; members should check their national tax regulations to see if this applies in their country.
